This is not a question I'm opting to debate since every individual will have they're own thoughts and views in such a question. I am simply bringing this question up, to draw out some thoughts, looking at more than one side.
But on to my scenario which doesn't really relate to my introduction:)

Imagine yourself in a pool of love. This pool goes on for infinite in all directions, give this substance of love a texture and a colour.
Would you drown in this pool? Would it ever be too much for you? Or would you get bored of this infinite comfort, the same old eternal bliss, no decrease or increase? Would you invite people to share this experience with you?
Now, in your mind, toss in a couple of people you really dislike into this pool. People who make you feel a silent surge of intense hatred: the type that makes your heart beat faster just by a simple thought.
Would the pool change colour or would your feeling to the colour? Would the substance of love change its texture, or would its texture make you feel different?Would you allow your enemies to feel the same type of love you felt when you first entered the pool? No?
In many ways this is not a delightful trip of the imagination. But it's something to think about nonetheless. Many comparisons to life can be extracted from this thought train. With all the thoughts running through your mind right now, know this:
Everything in life is dependant on how you perceive it. You are the creator of your own life experience. Give life to what you want. Give love to what you want. You are an individual. Do as you wish with this power. Nobody has power over you unless you give it to them.
Remember
EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL
