Moonlight

For some odd reason I tend to prefer the moonlight over the light given off by the sun. The harsh rays of the sun stimulate my physical body and mind, in a way that is not always comfortable. But when the moon is out in her full form and beauty, her glow gives me a sense of hope, belief that there is more to life than what everybody else sees, hope that maybe there are people like me out there, people who see the abstract beauty in life .

Her glow isn't harsh or harmful, rather, she uses the sun's harsh rays as a source for her cool, soothing, calm vibrations she sends out to us who love the nighttime. She doesn't scream to get attention, she commands the night sky as an anchor for peace and comfort, calmly blessing those who adjust their vision to her elegant position.

Her duality is something I can relate to as a Gemini, when she turns her face away from us the sky is not as beautiful even though she is there. We long for her face to glow again, brightening up our dark nights in an elegant silence and peaceful glow.

The moon is really something else, take time out to look at a full moon and allow your imagination to be free, you'll experience a sense of love and peace one doesn't normally get to experience.

It's through appreciating little things like this that we find how much beauty we have in the world.
